Library management: Analysis profile

Summary

The analysis profile allows your firm to toggle features on and off, promoting a streamlined workflow. 

Learn how to configure MindBridge to create a user experience tailored to your firm's methodologies. 

Note: The analysis profile is only available for use with general ledger analyses and is read-only for system libraries.

Configuration details

You must be an App Admin to view and manage analysis profiles.


Navigate to the Analysis profile

  1. From the Admin page, go to the Libraries tab.
  2. Open the Actions menu in line with the library you want to view.
  3. Select View Library.
    You will go to the Library details tab on the Libraries page.
  4. Select the General ledger tab.
    You will go to the Analysis profile section.


Disable or enable MindBridge features

All MindBridge dashboards, tools, settings, and reports are on by default. To disable a feature, use the toggle in line with the feature.

Note: Existing analyses using the library are automatically updated when features are enabled or disabled.

Dashboards

Dashboard Result of disabling
Audit assertion risk
  • Removes the Audit Assertion Risk tab on the Analyze page
  • Disables drill-down option on the Financial Statements dashboard
  • Removes annotation options for Audit Assertion Risk
Financial statements
  • Removes the Financial Statements tab on the Analyze page
  • Removes annotations for Financial Statements
  • These features are disabled automatically:
    • Automated scoping
    • Significant account report
      • Cannot be populated without scoping
    • Planning analytics report
      • Cannot be populated without scoping or annotations
Ratios
  • Removes the Ratios tab on the Analyze page
  • Removes the Ratios tab from the Engagement Settings page
  • Removes the Ratios section from the Significant account report
Risk overview
  • Removes the Risk Overview tab on the Analyze page
  • Summary of Transactional Risk report cannot be populated

Trends

  • Removes the Trends tab on the Analyze page
  • Disables drill-down option on the Financial Statements dashboard
  • Removes the Trends section from the Significant account report

Data table view

Select whether you want the data table dashboard to display entries or transactions by default.

Landing page 

When opening an analysis, select the dashboard you want to see by default.

Note: If you disable the landing page dashboard, MindBridge will automatically set your default landing page to the data table.

Tools and settings

Automated scoping
  • Removes the Automate Scoping option from the scoping wizard
Intelligent sampler
  • Removes the Intelligent Sampler option from the Data Table tab
Interim analysis
  • Removes the Interim or Full Analysis toggle on analysis creation
  • This feature is disabled automatically:
    • Interim roll forward check report
Required materiality

When required materiality is disabled:

  • Users can use the materiality modal to set the materiality to "none" by hitting "Save" with no value in the modal input
  • Users can perform scoping with no materiality value set

When required materiality is enabled:

  • Users cannot save materiality from the modal unless a value is set (the field is mandatory to the form submission)
  • Users cannot perform scoping unless the analysis has a materiality value set
  • "Materiality" text, in the materiality widget and the modal, is highlighted with a red "this is mandatory" asterisk

  • Removes this report on the Reports tab

  • Removes this report on the Reports tab

Planning analytics
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab
  • Removes the Actions menu option for this report on the Financial statements dashboard
Significant accounts
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab
  • Disables the drill-down option for this report on the Financial statements dashboard
Statement of functional expenses*
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab
Summary of transactional risk
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab
Trended account details
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab
Completeness check
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab
Unbalanced transactions check
  • Removes this report on the Reports tab

*Only available for General ledger (NFP) analyses.
**Only available for General ledger (NFP fund) analyses.
