New capabilities for Q2

MindBridge releases 4 updates a year with both new and improved capabilities and features.

New way to slice and dice your data with "populations"

The ability to define and surface specific populations of data in your analysis is a game changer. At their core, populations are groups of data that can be leveraged to find or exclude entries from your analysis results. This can help streamline your sampling, isolate unusual monetary flows and business processes in the data, and better align MindBridge with your organization's methodology. Populations can be set up in the library, the analysis results, and the analysis settings, and analysis-level populations can be added to engagements for use in other analyses.

New configurable Expert Rules control point

In addition to MindBridge’s Expert Rules control point, which was developed in collaboration with world-class subject matter experts and is offered out-of-the-box, App Admins can now use rules defined by your internal teams of experts to create new control points in the library. These new custom Expert Rules control points can help you find and calculate risk in a way that aligns with your industry and organizational needs.

New flexible risk ranges

MindBridge has traditionally used pre-defined percent ranges to indicate whether entries or transactions present a low, medium, or high risk. Now, App Admins can set up custom risk ranges in the library and apply them to specific risk scores. This new ability sets clear guidelines around entry and transaction handling, and can help better align the analysis results with your organization's methodology. Even more, engagement teams have the flexibility to adjust the risk ranges for a certain risk score in their analysis settings based on audit process findings.

New drill-down to segment statistics and visuals

Now you can drill into a row in the table on the Risk segmentation dashboard to see additional information about the given segment. This page includes a summary of the selected row, graphs to help you visualize the data, and a helpful list of control points that you can drill even further into. You can also add annotations to comment on your findings and export page elements as needed.

Analysis-level settings now available

Now you can access and adjust settings for individual analyses in your engagement as needed. The new Analysis settings page lets you access populations and risk ranges, and provides an opportunity to determine which currency should be displayed across your analysis results.

In order to accommodate this new capability, the MindBridge sidebar has been redesigned. Analysis settings, Engagement settings, and Organization settings can now be found within the Settings menu ( Settings ) in the MindBridge sidebar. You can also access the analysis settings through the Data page.

Charge Card analysis available through TRA offers a unique set of risk scores and control points related to expense analytics. With this new purpose-built analysis, you’ll be able to quickly surface changes in behavioral trends, see surges of activity, find interesting, unusual, or duplicated payments, and much more.
