Summary
Typically, engagements represent an annual audit, but an engagement may represent any service or activity performed for one of your clients.
The engagement folders may contain any number of files pertaining to a financial audit, such as general ledgers, and accounts payable and accounts receivable sub-ledgers. As your organization leverages MindBridge year over year, engagements help keep a record of activity.

Best practices
Because engagements often represent an annual audit, a new engagement should be created for each new fiscal period. If you have prior year data, you can roll it forward when creating the new engagement.
When you create a new engagement, you must select a library to pull settings from. Some library settings can be overridden in the engagement settings or analysis settings, but these changes do not impact the library itself.
