My data is too big to fit in 1 (one) Excel file, can I import multiple files?
No, only 1 general ledger file can be imported per period, per analysis. You must combine the data into 1 Excel file on a single sheet.

What data columns do I need for a general ledger import?
Your general ledger import must include the following columns:
- Account ID number
- Amount or Debit and Credit
- Effective date

How do I adjust my column data?
During the Map Columns stage, you can split, duplicate or combine column data for more flexibility in the column mapping process.
To adjust or manipulate column data, open the more actions menu ( ) next to your column data.
Can I change column mappings after the file is imported?
No, after confirming the column mappings you cannot make adjustments to them. If you need to make changes, you must restart the import process and apply new mappings.
To make changes, re-import your file:
- Open the Actions menu in line with the file.
- Select Replace file.
Can I change my transaction ID or apply the Smart Splitter after the file is imported?
No, you cannot modify the transaction ID or apply the Smart Splitter after the file has been imported.
To make changes, first archive the analysis. Keep the duplicate analysis box checked. A duplicate of the analysis will be created. You can then re-import your file:
- Open the Actions menu in line with the file.
- Select Replace file.
