My data is too big to fit in one Excel file, can I upload multiple files?

No, only one general ledger file can be uploaded per year, per analysis. You must combine the data into one Excel file on a single sheet.

If you need assistance combining your general ledger data, please submit a Data Formatting Request.

 


What data columns do I need for my general ledger imports?

Your general ledger import must include the following columns:

  • Account number
  • Amount or Debit and Credit
  • Effective date

How do I adjust my column data?

During the Map Columns stage, you can split, duplicate or combine column data for more flexibility in the column mapping process.

To adjust or manipulate column data, select the 3 dots icon next to your column data.

Can I change column mappings after the file is imported?

No, after confirming the column mappings you cannot make adjustments to them. If you need to make changes, you must restart the import process and apply new mappings. 

To make changes, re-import your file:

  1. Open the Actions menu in line with the file.
  2. Select Replace file.

 


Can I change my transaction ID or apply the Smart Splitter after the file is imported?

No, you cannot modify the transaction ID or apply the Smart Splitter after the file has been imported.

To make changes, re-import your file:

  1. Open the Actions menu in line with the file.
  2. Select Replace file.
