Library settings: Segments

  • Updated

Summary

Segments allow you to categorize financial data and MindBridge data into meaningful groups that align with your firm's methodologies, accelerating a more targeted and efficient analysis. Segments enable your team to quickly identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within specific areas of the business, and supports more granular and actionable reporting to help your organization make better informed decisions.

Segments can be created within the library for your team to use in a repeatable and efficient manner across their engagements.

Learn how to create and manage high-level segments for your team in the library below.

Learn more about how segments are used within the MindBridge platform

Note: Changes made to the Segments section within a given library, including segments being created, updated, or deleted, will not appear in existing engagements using that library. To see your changes in action, you must create a new engagement (or roll forward or duplicate an analysis into a new engagement). All segments in the library you select will be copied into the engagement as they exist at that point in time.
Note: While the library is limited to App Admins, other roles can create and manage segments via the Risk segmentation dashboard, as well as add high-level segments to the library as needed so they can be used in future engagements.
