This guide will cover the process of importing a SAP S4/HANA Cloud General Ledger into MindBridge.
Note that the General Ledger column mapping section of this guide is based on data exported using our SAP S4/HANA Cloud: Export the general ledger.
- Import your General Ledger file into MindBridge, either through the File Manager, or by importing directly to the General Ledger section on the Data page.
- Follow the steps in the ingestion wizard until you reach the section titled Column Mapping General Ledger. If you followed the export guide then all the columns that can be mapped within MindBridge will be included in your general ledger. Below is a table which shows the MindBridge columns and their corresponding SAP S4/HANA Cloud columns.
|MindBridge Column||SAP S4/HANA Cloud Field||Fields Used in MindBridge||Used in Analytics*||Notes|
|Account ID||G/L Account||Required||Yes|

** Transaction ID is required but does not necessarily need to be in one single column. In the Review Data step of the ingestion process, MindBridge will recommend a transaction ID based on your data, or you can choose and/or combine different columns to create one.
