Summary

Learn why the custom delimiter entered into MindBridge isn't separating fields.

Symptom

After entering or selecting a delimiter, the preview of your data does not reflect the header structure as it appears in the imported file. 

The preview may display:

• data found elsewhere in the file
• column_A, column_B, etc. as the column headers
  
  

Resolution

• Ensure the file you have imported contains all necessary column headers.
• Ensure all column headers appear in the first row on the first sheet of the file.
  
  

Root cause

MindBridge cannot generate a proper preview because it cannot detect a header row.
