Bulk import data using a connector

Summary

Data connectors import the data needed for analysis all at once. Discover the benefits of connecting yourself or inviting a client to connect to a data connector using MindBridge.


Go to the Data page

  1. Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar. 
    You will go to the Organizations page.
  2. Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row. 
    You will go to the Engagements page.
  3. Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row. 
    You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.

Tip: If you are already in an analysis, simply use the sidebar to go to the Data page.


Connect to a data source

  1. Open the Actions menu at the top of the Data page.
  2. Select Connect data source.
    You will go to a page where you can manage your data sources.
  3. Select one of the following:

Invite a client to connect

Inviting a client to connect accelerates the authorization process and improves efficiency. By connecting a client's financial management system directly to MindBridge, engagement teams can confidently complete any data import processes and associated engagement tasks before fieldwork begins, without requiring any access to the financial management system.

Connect yourself

Those with appropriate permissions in the financial management system can quickly and easily complete the authorization using the Connect myself option. Additionally, clients can complete the authorization using this method while onsite.
