FAQ: When should I use the import settings feature?

  • Updated

Summary

Learn how to leverage import settings while creating an engagement.

Solution

Import settings can be used when you would like to import settings from a previously created engagement into a new one.

To use this feature upon engagement creation, please make sure to select the ‘Import settings’ checkbox. You can select any type of analysis, depending on the nature of the analysis and settings you would like to import. Please refer to the image below.image.png

There are four scenarios where you can use the import settings feature:

  1. Account grouping and mapping – This will import all the engagement-level account names and account mappings from a previous engagement to a new engagement. You will not have to map the accounts again in the new analysis.
  2. Populations – This will import all the selected populations created on the engagement level to a new engagement to ensure consistency.
  3. Ratios – Engagement-level ratios will be imported to a new engagement. This will override the library settings.
  4. Risk Scores – This will import all the engagement-level risk score settings to a new engagement. By selecting this checkbox, you do not need to manually change the risk score settings for the new engagement.

You can similarly select the checkbox for ‘Accounts payable’ and ‘Accounts receivable’. Please refer to the above image.
