Learn where to find the 2 Digit Benford graph in your MindBridge analysis.

Configuration details

You must have successfully run a general ledger, accounts payable, or accounts receivable analysis in MindBridge to access the graph.

Access the 2 Digit Benford graph

You can access this graph via the Risk overview dashboard and the Data table dashboard.

Risk overview dashboard

1. Select the analysis you want to view, either through the Data page or from within the sidebar.
2. Go to the Risk overview tab.
3. Find 2 Digit Benford in the Control points list on the right side of the screen.
4. Select the drill-down icon ( ) to go to the Data table dashboard, applying this control point as a filter.
   Note: If 0 (zero) transactions were found, or the control point is unavailable with the current data, you will not be able to drill down.
5. If MindBridge detects filters on the Data table dashboard, you will be prompted to confirm that your selection will replace any currently applied filters.
   Once you confirm, you will see all of the transactions in which 2 Digit Benford received a high control point score.
6. Select the transaction you want to see.
   You will go to the details page, which displays all of the entries within the transaction.
7. Go to the Control Points section...
   • For the transaction: Simply scroll down to the Control Points section. The MindBridge score will be expanded automatically.
   • For an entry within the transaction: Select your desired entry. Scroll down to the Control Points section and expand the risk score you want to see. 
8. Find the tile for 2 Digit Benford.
9. Select the information icon ( ) in the top-right corner of the tile to reveal additional information, including a bar graph that shows the control point distribution across the dataset.

Select the X icon to go back to the details page, or select View entries / View transactions (depending on your selected view) to go to the list of entries or transactions in which 2 Digit Benford received a high control point score.

Data table dashboard

1. Select the analysis you want to view, either through the Data page or from within the sidebar.
2. Go to the Data table tab.
3. Open the Filter builder and add a condition.
4. Select Control points from the list, then select 2 Digit Benford and Apply the condition.
5. Apply the filter to the dashboard.
6. Select whether you want to view Transactions or Entries.
   All of the transactions or entries will appear (depending on your selection above) in which 2 Digit Benford received a high control point score.
7. Select the item you want to see.
   You will go to the details page, which displays your selection and all of the entries belonging to the relevant transaction.
8. Go to the Control Points section...
   • For the transaction: Simply scroll down to the Control Points section. The MindBridge score will be expanded automatically.
   • For an entry within the transaction: Scroll down to the Control Points section and expand the risk score you want to see. 
9. Find the tile for 2 Digit Benford.
10. Select the information icon ( ) in the top-right corner of the tile to reveal additional information, including a bar graph that shows the control point distribution across the dataset.

Select the X icon to go back to the details page, or select View entries / View transactions (depending on your selected view) to go to the list of entries or transactions in which 2 Digit Benford received a high control point score.
