Sage 300 ERP: Transform the general ledger

  • Updated

Summary

Learn about the process of transforming for import into MindBridge a general ledger file exported from Sage 300 ERP.

Notes/Prerequisites

This guide assumes that you have exported a CSV file from Sage 300 ERP in the following format, as detailed in the Sage 300 ERP: Export the general ledger guide. 8.JPG

Transform the data

The problem

The exported file does not contain any column headers, which might cause issues during ingestion into MindBridge.

The solution

Remove the empty columns and add the first row with the column headers as shown below:

  • Account Number
  • Description
  • Year
  • Prd.
  • Source
  • Doc. Date
  • Reference
  • Posting seq.
  • Batch-Entry
  • Debits
  • Credits
  • Second Reference

The formatted file should look like this: 9.JPG

Your file does not require any additional formatting and is ready to be imported into MindBridge.
