Sage 100 ERP (US): Transform the general ledger

Learn about the process of transforming for import into MindBridge a general ledger file exported from Sage 100 ERP (US). 


Notes/Prerequisites

This guide assumes that you have exported a CSV file from Sage 100 ERP (US) in the following format, as detailed in the Sage 100 ERP (US): Export the general ledger guide.

Transform the data

The problem

The exported file does not contain any column headers, which might cause issues during ingestion into MindBridge. 

The solution

Simply add the first row with the column headers as shown below:

  • A: Account Number
  • B: Account Description 
  • C: Transaction Date 
  • D: Source Journal
  • E: Journal/Register No
  • F: Line Sequence Number
  • G: Source Module
  • H: Posting Amount
  • I: Posting Comment

The formatted file should look like this:

Your file does not require any additional formatting and is ready to be imported into MindBridge.
