Symptom

Scenario

An entry of 674,855.95 was entered into the Debit column of a GL file, but the Data table dashboard is displaying 67,485,595.00.

Resolution

Look over the data for misplaced decimal points, and ensure that currency columns correct.

Root cause: Typos

In the scenario above, several other cells in the same column contained extra decimal points, which caused MindBridge's currency format detector to view decimal points as a numeric grouping symbol rather than a decimal symbol.
