Enhanced periodic analysis

  • Updated

Enhanced periodic analysis improves how recurring analyses are processed by allowing users to score only new or updated data instead of rescoring the entire analysis period.

Note: This feature is available to select TRA customers through a feature flag.

When enabled, previously scored entries and historical results remain unchanged, while only newly added or modified rows are processed during subsequent runs. This helps reduce runtime and processing costs for recurring analyses while improving scalability for large data populations and enterprise workflows.

Configure enhanced periodic analysis

Enhanced periodic analysis is configured within the applicable library settings.

When configuring a Periodic time frame, navigate to the Historical data window section and select Only score new data rows.

When this option is enabled:

  • previously scored entries and results are preserved
  • only new or updated rows are scored during subsequent runs
  • historical review results remain unchanged

Users continue to use the existing periodic analysis workflow when uploading and processing data.

Some control points are more sensitive to full population analysis than others. Enhanced periodic analysis allows MindBridge to optimize how certain control points are processed during recurring analyses by evaluating only newly added or updated data where appropriate.

This approach helps reduce unnecessary processing while maintaining scoring quality and improving overall analysis performance for large and recurring datasets.
