Summary
The data manifest report provides users with a downloadable XLSX reference during analysis creation that explains the required structure and formatting for uploaded data files.
The report dynamically reflects the configuration of the selected analysis and helps users understand which files and columns are required before data is uploaded. Because the report is generated in real time, it reflects the specific requirements of the analysis being created instead of relying on static documentation or generalized templates.
Download the data manifest report
Within an analysis, select the More actions menu (three dots), then select Export data requirements.
An XLSX file downloads to your computer. The first sheet provides a summary of the report, including source scope, whether files are required, column metadata definitions, supported data types, and alternative mappings.
The file also includes a column definitions sheet that lists the required and optional columns for each file in the analysis. For each column, users can review the column name, expected data type, whether the column is required, whether blank values are allowed, and any supported alternative mappings.
The report can be shared with teams responsible for preparing or generating source data files.
