Learn about the SolarWinds Orion security breach and how MindBridge is impacted.

Overview

MindBridge does not use the SolarWinds Orion Platform nor have we observed any impact on our service from the SolarWinds Orion security incident first reported by FireEye in December of 2020.

MindBridge uses Pingdom which is a managed external monitoring tool acquired by SolarWinds. This offering is not related to the Orion platform and SolarWinds have confirmed in their security advisory that Pingdom is not known to be affected.

We are aware that certain third-party providers like Microsoft, provider of the Azure cloud platform that MindBridge uses, have been impacted. In recent statements, Microsoft have confirmed that they have found no evidence of malware access to production services or customer data.

At this time we believe the MindBridge service to be unaffected by the SolarWinds incident.
