Add a column for filtering

Learn how to add a column that can be used for filtering throughout MindBridge.


This task is performed during the data ingestion process, so you will need to navigate to an engagements Data page and begin importing a file.


Add columns for filtering

Note: This action is only applicable to columns that have not yet been mapped.
  1. During column mapping, use the ellipsis to the right of the desired column and select Add column for filtering.
    A pop-up window appears.
  2. You have the option to change the name using the Header Name field.
    You will see a preview of the first 2 cells in the selected column.  
  3. When you are satisfied, Save your work.
    The column will be marked for filtering and you will be taken back to column mapping. Columns marked for filtering are displayed in the bottom right of this page.

Where will columns for filtering appear?

Risk overview dashboard

Added columns appear as filters on the Risk overview dashboard and in the Risk by graph.

Trends dashboard

In general ledger analyses, the columns added for filtering appear in the Type view.

Added columns also appear as filters on the Trends dashboard just above the graph.

Data table

Added columns appear as filters in the filter builder on the data table.
