Summary

Learn about the optional column mappings that can affect the control points for more in-depth analysis.

Memo column

The following control points are affected by the way the "memo" column is mapped.

Suspicious Keyword

If the memo column is mapped, Suspicious Keyword will search the memo column and trigger when a keyword is found. If this column isn't mapped, Suspicious Keyword will never trigger.

Complex Instrument

If the memo column is mapped, Complex Instrument will search the memo column and trigger when a complex transaction is found. If this column isn't mapped, Complex Instrument will never trigger.

Empty Text Field

If the memo column is mapped, Empty Text Field will flag transactions that have no text in their memo fields. If this column isn't mapped, the Empty Text Field will never trigger.

Entered Date column

The following control points are affected by the way the "entered date" column is mapped.

Note: Except for the Weekend Post control point, if the imported document does not contain a column for "entered date", the "effective date" column will be used instead.

Weekend Post

If the entered date column is mapped, Weekend Post will flag entries posted on the weekend. If this column isn't mapped, Weekend Post will not flag any entries.

Reversal

If the entered date column is mapped, Reversal will use this column to determine the order that transactions occurred. If this column isn't mapped, Reversal will use the effective date column to determine this sequence.

Reversed

If the entered date column is mapped, Reversed will use this column to determine the order that transactions occurred. If this column isn't mapped, Reversed will use the effective date column to determine this sequence.

Unusual Amount by Customer

If the entered date column is mapped, Unusual Amount by Customer will look for patterns in the entered date column related to specific users. If this column isn't mapped, it will look for patterns in the effective date column.

Transaction Type column

Manual Entry

By default, Manual Entry searches the transaction type column for text indicating manual entries. If this column isn't mapped, Manual Entry will not trigger based on this rule.
