Add and remove account tags

Summary

Account tags help you organize your accounts and create filters. Use the account tags supplied by MindBridge, or create your own to help you find entries or transactions.

Learn how to add and remove account tags in your analysis.


Go to the Data page

  1. Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar. 
    You will go to the Organizations page.
  2. Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row. 
    You will go to the Engagements page.
  3. Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row. 
    You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.

Tip: If you are already in an analysis, simply use the sidebar to go to the Data page.


Overview

Once account mappings have been verified, they can be adjusted as needed.

  1. Open the more actions menu (3 dots icon) on the right side of the analysis.
  2. Select View mappings.
    You will go to the Account mapping page.
Note: All analyses within an engagement use the same account mappings.

Add a new account tag

  1. Select a field in line with the desired account in the Account Tags column.
  2. Enter the tag you want to use into the field.*
  3. Press enter/return on your keyboard to confirm the new account tag.
  4. When you are satisfied, select Done at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
    You will go back to the Data page, and will be prompted to re-run the analysis. New account tags will not be taken into account until you re-run the analysis. 
*Note: Account tags can be up to 12 characters long.

Add account tags to multiple accounts

  1. Open the more actions menu (3 dot icon) in line with the analysis name.
  2. Select Verify mapping or View mappings, depending on whether or not the accounts have been mapped yet.
    You will go to the Account mapping page.
  3. Check the boxes next to the accounts you want to add new tags to.
    A blue bulk actions bar will appear.
  4. Open the Actions menu in the bar.
  5. Select Add account tags.
    A pop-up window will appear.
  6. Use the menu to select an account tag, or enter a new tag into the text field.
  7. When you are satisfied, select Done.
    You will go back to the Data page.

Remove an account tag

  1. Select the X icon in the account tag you want to remove.
  2. When you are satisfied, select Done at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
    You will go back to the Data page, and will be prompted to re-run the analysis. Changes to account tags will not be taken into account until you re-run the analysis.
