Summary
Before running an analysis, it is important to verify the account mapping and make adjustments if needed. For analysis integrity, each account must be mapped to the most appropriate MindBridge Account Classification ("MAC") code.
You can map your accounts within MindBridge or export account mappings as a spreadsheet and map them manually.
Learn how to export and re-import account mappings into your analysis below.
Go to the Data page
- Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar.
You will go to the Organizations page. - Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row.
You will go to the Engagements page. - Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row.
You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.
Tip: If you are already in an analysis, simply use the sidebar ( ) to go to the Data ( ) page.
Export account mappings

Work with exported mappings
The exported account list contains 2 worksheets:
- Accounts: The account mapping structure
- MAC code: The MAC code system
The Accounts worksheet contains a series of "VLOOKUP" formulas. These Excel formulas are used to find specific values in a worksheet. Use this formula to locate the appropriate MindBridge Account Classification (MAC) code from the MAC Code sheet, which contains all available MAC codes.
For more information on VLOOKUP formulas, review this Microsoft video.
You can copy and paste the appropriate MAC code into the MAC Code column (column C) on the Accounts sheet.
When adding a MAC code, the lower account levels update to match the new code.
When you are satisfied, save the file.

When you are satisfied with your account mappings, you can import the file back into MindBridge.
- Follow the most appropriate course of action:
