Data table: Views, columns and sorting (Accounts Receivable)

  • Updated

Summary

The data table dashboard can be configured to provide a more effective review of your data.

Learn about the different views available in the data table and how to manipulate and organize columns.

Navigation

Before you use the dashboard, find out how to access the Data Table tab.

View by entries or outstanding entries

The data table can be configured to display either entries or outstanding entries using the View menu above the data table.

Entries view

This shows every line item in the accounts receivable detail.

By default, the entries view displays entries that fall within the current period, but if the data contains out-of-period entries you can view these using the Current period menu.

Outstanding entries view

The outstanding entries view shows every line item in the end of year payable list.

Note: Accounts receivable risk scoring is done exclusively on accounts receivable detail entries. The scores that you see when viewing outstanding entries are the risk scores of those entries as they appear in the detail table. If an outstanding entry is unscored, it is because there is no match between this entry and an entry in the accounts receivable detail.

Entry details

The entry details provide additional information regarding the control points triggered for the entry.

You can drill-down into the entry details by selecting a row in the data table.

Note: Control points will not appear in the entry details if an outstanding entry unscored.

To get more detail on a control point, use the information icon ( Information_icon ) in the upper-right corner of the control point tile. A pop-up window will appear that displays additional context about why a control point did or did not trigger.

Sort a column

Sort columns in ascending or descending order by selecting the column header. The darker triangle indicates the sort order.

Reorder columns

Click and drag the desired column header left or right into its new location.

Add and remove columns

Open the Columns menu on the right side of the table and check the box next to each column you want to display.

Pin a column

Pinning columns ensures they will stay in view when scrolling horizontally.

Open the menu on the column header you want to pin and select Pin Column, then choose the pin location on the table: Left, Right or No Pin (default).
