Stratified risk groupings (General Ledger)

Summary

Learn how stratified risk groupings are broken down, and how you can leverage them in your analysis.


Go to the Risk overview tab

  1. Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar.
    You will go to the Organizations page.
  2. Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row.
    You will go to the Engagements page.
  3. Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row.
    You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.
  4. Select View Analysis on the desired analysis or open the Analyze menu in the MindBrige sidebar select the name of the analysis you want to see.
    You will go to the Risk overview tab.


Overview

MindBridge summarizes all the transactions in your general ledger and places them into stratified groupings of high, medium, and low risk. 

The threshold for each risk grouping is summarized below:

≤ 29.9%

Low risk

Thresholds are based on extensive field testing and expert feedback.

30% – 49.9%

Medium risk

≥ 50%

High risk

Each entry level control point is rolled up into transactions and the score shown will be the highest scored entry in the transaction.

For example, an entry level control point (such as 2 Digit Benford) will score each entry in a transaction. If a transaction has 4 entries and the risk scores are 1 medium, 1 high, and 2 lows, the transaction will have a transaction level score of "high". 


Stratified risk groupings on the Risk overview dashboard

Stratified risk groupings appear at the top of the Risk overview dashboard.

Each risk tile displays its total value, number of transactions, and the proportion of the ledger it represents.

Select any of the risk tiles to drill down to the Data table and see the list of entries that belong to that risk group.
