Notes
- The sample company Universal Construction is being used in this guide.
- Depending on your organization's settings, the layout and report names may be different. Sage 50 (Canada) can be configured to use plain English or accounting terminology - but the reports should be in the same location as the screenshots below.
- We recommend exporting to CSV because Excel exports have row limitations.

Instructions
- From the top bar, click Reports > Financials > General Ledger.
- Select the desired accounts for General Ledger (GL) report. In this example, all accounts are selected. Select the dates and the same report options as in the screenshot below, although the sorting of the export does not matter. Click OK.
- The report that is produced should look like the image below.
Click the Export button. - Select your local save location. Under Save as Type, select “Comma-separated (*.csv).”
- The exported file should look like the image below:
