How to export files from MindBridge

There are a few ways to export files from MindBridge.

Learn how to export files from the Data page and from the file manager.


Export files from the Data page

Go to the Data page

  1. Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar.
    You will go to the Organizations page.
  2. Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row.
    You will go to the Engagements page.
  3. Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row.
    You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.
Tip: If you are already in an analysis, simply use the sidebar ( Sidebar_open-close_icon.svg ) then go to the Data ( Data_page_icon.svg ) page.

Export files

  1. Find the analysis that contains the file you want to export. 
  2. Open the more actions menu ( More_actions_menu_icon.svg ) in line with the file you want to export.
  3. Select from the following*:
    • Export original file: The data source for the work done in MindBridge.
    • Export formatted file: Contains any changes made to the source data, including ungrouping data.
    • Export file with modified columns: Contains the columns that were added for filtering within MindBridge, duplicated, joined, or split.
    • Export Smart Splitter file: Contains the data as it appears after the Smart Splitter has been run.

*Note: Depending on the actions performed in the analysis, some of these options may not appear.

Export files from the file manager

Go to the file manager

  1. Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar.
    You will go to the Organizations page.
  2. Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row.
    You will go to the Engagements page.
  3. Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row.
    You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.
Tip: If you are already in an analysis, simply use the sidebar ( Sidebar_open-close_icon.svg ) then go to the File manager ( File_manager_icon.svg ) page.

Export a single file or folder

  1. Check the box next to the file or folder you want to export.
  2. Option the Actions menu in line with the file or or folder.
  3. Select Export.

Export multiple files or folders

  1. Check the boxes next to the files and/or folders you want to export.
    When more than one checkbox is selected, a blue bar appears.
  2. Open the Actions menu that appears in the bar.
  3. Select Export.
