Views, Columns, & Sorting

Overview

The data table can be configured to provide a more effective review of your data: 

 

  • View by transactions or entries 
  • Sort columns 
  • Add or remove columns 
  • Reorder columns
  • Pin columns

 

 

View by Transactions or Entries

The data table can be configured to show either a transactions view or entries view using the drop-down in the upper-right corner of the page.

Transactions View

The transactions view will display all of the transactions in your general ledger.

Each transaction contains a list of its entries nested below. Use the chevron to the left of the transaction ID to expand and collapse the list.

Entries View

The entries view shows every line item in your general ledger.

Transaction Details

The transaction details provide additional information regarding the control points triggered for a transaction and its entries. 

 

The transaction details can be accessed by drilling into a transaction or entry on the data table.

Sorting Columns

Sortable columns are indicated with a double arrow and can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking the column header. The darker of the two indicates if the list is sorted in ascending or descending order.

Adding & Removing Columns

Click Columns on the right side of the table and select the checkbox next to each column you want to display.

Reordering Columns

Click and drag the desired column header left or right into its new location.

Pinning Columns

Pinning columns ensures they will stay in view when scrolling horizontally.

 

Hover over the column header you want to pin, click the menu icon and hover over Pin Column. Select where the column should be pinned: Left, Right or No Pin (default).
