Adjust and verify account mappings

Summary

To run an analysis, it is important to verify the mapping of the imported dataset. Learn how to verify account mappings within MindBridge.


Go to the Data page

  1. Select the logo in the MindBridge sidebar. 
    You will go to the Organizations page.
  2. Select View in line with the desired organization, or click anywhere in the organization row. 
    You will go to the Engagements page.
  3. Select View in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row. 
    You will go to the Data page for that particular engagement.

Tip: If you are already in an analysis, simply use the sidebar to go to the Data page.


Configuration details

You must have successfully imported data into an analysis to adjust or verify account mappings.


Verify account mappings

  1. Select Verify mappings at the top of the analysis.
    You will go to the Account mapping page.
  2. If you want to change an account mapping*, use the Account type menus to select each account's appropriate MAC code.
  3. When you are satisfied with each account mapping, select Done**
    MindBridge will remind you your analysis relies on the accuracy of the data.
  4. When you are satisfied, select Verify mapping.
*Tip: Excel power users can Export and re-import account mappings with Excel.
**Note: Selecting Done automatically verifies all account mappings. Ensure that each account is properly mapped before proceeding.

Adjust account mappings

Once account mappings have been verified, they can be adjusted as needed.

  1. Open the more actions menu ( More actions menu icon.svg ) on the right side of the analysis.
  2. Select View mappings.
    You will go to the Account mapping page.
  3. If you want to change an account mapping*, use the Account type menus to select each account's appropriate MAC code.
  4. When you are satisfied with the accuracy of each account, select Done.
