Roll an analysis forward from an existing engagement

Once you select a library, you can streamline the data import process by rolling analysis data forward.

When you roll forward with this method, MindBridge creates a new analysis within a new engagement, and the data that rolls forward will be imported immediately into a prior period.

Note: Only analyses that have been run successfully can be rolled forward.

Data will be rolled forward into the new analysis as follows:

Original analysis

Rolled forward analysis

Current period

Prior period 1

Prior period 1

Prior period 2

Prior period 2

Prior period 3

Prior period 3

Data will not be copied to new engagement

To roll an analysis forward from an existing engagement:

  1. Select Create engagement.
  2. Enter an engagement name.
  3. Select the Library you want to use.
  4. Check the box next to Roll forward.
  5. *Use the Organization menu to select the source organization.
  6. *Use the Engagement menu to select the source engagement**.
  7. Use the checkbox(es) to select one or more analyses to roll forward into the new engagement.
  8. Use the toggles to indicate whether each selected analysis is an Interim or Full analysis.
  9. Enter the appropriate information in the Engagement planning section, then select Next.

At any point you can select Cancel to go back to the Organizations page.

*Note: Roll forward and Import settings leverage the same organization and engagement. If these menus do not appear beneath Roll forward, they were likely selected beneath Import settings.
**Note: The engagement you source from must support the analysis type and use the same account grouping as the analysis you want to roll forward.

Import settings from an existing engagement

You can select settings to import from an existing engagement into the engagement you are creating.

  1. Select the Library you want to use.

  4. *Use the Engagement menu to select the source engagement**.
  5. Use the checkbox(es) to select the settings you want to import per analysis type.
Additional details will appear beneath each selection.
  6. When you are satisfied, select Next.
If you are also rolling an analysis forward, you will go to the Data page of the new engagement.
If you are not rolling forward, you will go to the Create Analysis page.

At any point you can select Cancel to go back to the Organizations page.

*Note: Roll forward and Import settings leverage the same organization and engagement. If these menus do not appear beneath Import settings, they were likely selected beneath Roll forward.
**Note: If you want to use a different library than the library used in the source engagement, you will only be able to import account mappings.
