Data page: Run history

  • Updated

Summary

After you run an analysis within MindBridge, a historic view of each run will be recorded on the Data page within the Run history section located near the bottom of the given analysis.

Learn more about run history and how it works in MindBridge, including:

Note: If an analysis is run (or re-run) prior to December 15, 2023, and is run again after this date, the Run history section will only reflect a single prior analysis run for the period before December 15th.

View the Run history

The Run history section is available within each successfully completed analysis on the Data page.

Select the expand icon ( Expand chevron.svg ) to the left of Run history, located near the bottom of a given analysis.

You will see the following details:

  • Reason for run: The reason for running the analysis...
    • At least one new file was imported into the analysis (this will appear after the first analysis run, after replacing an existing file in a completed analysis, or after a subsequent file has been added to a periodic time frame*)
    • The engagement settings were updated
      • Note: When engagement settings are updated, all analyses of the given type (for example, all general ledger analyses) within the engagement will offer the prompt to be re-run
    • The analysis initially failed, but was successful when retried
  • Date: The date that the analysis completed successfully (this is always displayed in your local time zone)
  • Time: The time of day that the analysis completed successfully (this is always displayed in your local time zone)
  • Run by: The user who ran the analysis
  • Run duration: The amount of time it took MindBridge to analyze the imported data, displayed in hours and minutes
*Note: The periodic time frame is only available for GL analyses.

View analysis results

The analysis results of your most recent analysis will always be available to view.

Select View analysis. You will be taken to the results dashboard landing page for the given analysis.

View older analysis runs

Most analysis types allow you to access the point-in-time analysis results of past runs.

In the Run history, select the view icon ( Drill-down icon.svg ) in line with the analysis run you want to see. You will be taken to the results dashboard landing page for the given analysis.

Special handling for periodic time frames

The periodic time frame for GL analyses allows you to import data on an ongoing basis. For this reason, only the most recent analysis run will be available to view when the periodic time frame is selected, and older runs will not be accessible.

Export files from an analysis run

You can export the primary data files* used** in the current period of previous analysis runs.

In the Run history section, select the export icon ( Export icon ) in line with the analysis run you want to export files from.

*Note: The "primary data files" contain the data being analyzed in the current period only, and may consist of general ledgers, accounts payable details, etc. Opening and closing balance files, post-close adjustment files, customer lists, etc. are not included in the export.
**Note: Files that have been deleted from a successfully completed analysis will not be included in the export.

Delete an analysis run

If you no longer need to access the results of an older analysis run, you can delete the run from the Run history.

  1. In the Run history section, select the delete icon ( Delete icon.svg ) in line with the analysis run you want to delete.
    A confirmation window will appear.
  2. To permanently delete the analysis run from the Run history, select Delete.
You will go back to the Data page and the run will be removed from the analysis.

Select Cancel any time to go back to the Data page without deleting the analysis run.

Note: When the periodic analysis time frame is selected, older analysis runs cannot be deleted from the analysis.
