Navigation

To perform these tasks you will need to Navigate to the engagement settings.

From the engagement settings, click Risk Scores.

Overview

The Risk Scores inherit the default settings from whichever Library the engagement is using but can be adjusted at the engagement level to tailor the analyses to your needs.

Learn more about risk scores in our knowledge base.

Note: you will need to re-run any existing analyses within the engagement for risk score changes to take effect.

Viewing a risk score

The risk scores are grouped by analysis type and can be selected via the drop-down menus.engagement-settings-risk-scores-view1.gif

Click a risk score name to expand it. The expanded view will display the control points that make up the risk score.

Adjusting control point weights

Note: We recommend familiarizing yourself with how MindBridge uses control point weights before making adjustments to them.

Adjusting a control point's weight will only impact the risk score you’re making the change in. For example, adjusting a control point within the Asset Existence Score will not impact the Liabilities and Equity Existence Score.

To adjust a control point’s weight, click and drag the slider to your desired weight or input a value from 0-100 in the number field.

Once satisfied, click Save for the changes to take effect.

Upon clicking Save, you will be required to provide a reason for the change.

Adjusting control point settings

Unlike the control point weights which are independent across the risk scores, some control points have additional settings that are shared across the risk scores.

The following control points allow for customization beyond the control point weights.

  • Complex Instrument

  • End of Analysis Period

  • End of Reporting Period

  • High Monetary Value

  • Manual Entry

  • Material Value

  • Old Unpaid Invoice

  • Suspicious Keywords

To adjust the settings, click on the control point name to expand the details and then click Edit.

A pop-up window will appear where you can adjust the settings for the control point. When satisfied, click Save.

Note: Control point settings are shared across all versions of that control point for an analysis type within the engagement. For example, changing the High Monetary Value threshold to 5% in the accounts payable settings will change the threshold for High Monetary Value in the MindBridge Score, Existence Score, and Valuation Score for accounts payable analyses within your engagement.

Disabling a risk score

To disable a risk score, click the options icon button on the right-hand side of the risk score and select Disable risk score.

A Disabled status will appear beside the risk score name and all control points within the risk score will no longer be editable. Click Save for the changes to take effect.

Upon clicking Save, you will be required to provide a reason for the change.

Adding and removing control points from a risk score

To add or remove control points from a risk score, click the options icon button on the right-hand side of the risk score and select Add or remove control points.

A pop-up window will appear that lists all available control points. Control points that have already been added to the risk score will have their checkboxes selected.

Select the checkbox beside a control point to add it or deselect the checkbox to remove it.

Once satisfied, click Update.

Any new control points will be highlighted in blue and will have a default weight of 0%. Adjust the control point weights and click Save for the changes to take effect.

Upon clicking Save, you will be required to provide a reason for the change.
