View control points in a risk score

A risk score is an aggregate score that combines multiple control point results together. You can see additional details about each control point run within a risk score by selecting the information icon ( Information icon ) in the upper-right corner of a control point tile.

Note: Control point results are unique to each risk score. For example, the team at Veritas Law added the control point POP Change in Risk Profile to their custom risk scores: Long Term Risk, and Risk Increasing Over Time. They assign the control point a weight of 20 in one risk score, and a weight of 1 in the other. Upon reviewing their analysis, they can see that each risk score has unique results.

About control point information tiles

These information tiles reflect the results of different types of control points:

  • Checkmark icon ( check-circle-solid.svg ) – Indicates that the control point has passed a rules-based test.
  • X icon ( times-circle-solid.svg ) – Indicates that the control point has failed a rules-based test, and therefore may be a strong indication of risk.
  • High: % – Indicates that the control point may be a strong indication of risk, based on a statistical or machine learning test, and the risk ranges applied in the library or the analysis settings.
  • Medium: % – Indicates that the control point may be a moderate indication of risk, based on a statistical or machine learning test, and the risk ranges applied in the library or the analysis settings.
  • Low: % – Indicates that the control point may be a weak indication of risk, based on a statistical or machine learning test, and the risk ranges applied in the library or the analysis settings.
  • N/C – Indicates that the control point has a weight of 0, so although it was run against the data, it did not contribute to scoring.
  • N/A –Indicates that the control point was not run against the dataset due to missing files or column mappings, and so could not contribute to scoring.
